Notes
'Profusion Red' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Profusion Red') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast and stays upright, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit its blooms. It also tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Soraya sunflower, Snapdragon, First Knight fountain grass, and Aster.
