Notes

'Pünktchen' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Pünktchen') is a grass for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching clumps reach 60 to 84 inches tall and bear reddish-brown blooms in summer and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Birds visit the plant, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Silver sage, Stargazer lily, and Endless Summer hydrangea.
