Notes
'Purple Lady Finger' hosta (Hosta 'Purple Lady Finger') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant purple flowers open from early to late summer and draw hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clump grows 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.
Pairs well with Fernleaf peony, Cutleaf toothwort, and Canada wild rye.
