Notes

'Queen Bee' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Queen Bee') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early summer with flat, semi-double, salmon-pink flowers that have pink outer petals and a yellow ring in the center. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1977.
