Notes

'Queen of the Dawn' peony (Paeonia 'Queen of the Dawn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single, pale cerise pink flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Wide Brim hosta, Nodding onion, and Annabelle hydrangea.
