Notes
'Queen Victoria' shooting star (Primula jeffreyi 'Queen Victoria') is a perennial with pink flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun. Loose clusters of pink to lavender-pink flowers have reflexed petals like a badminton birdie. They sit on stiff stems above small rosettes of long oval leaves. The plant grows from a small bulb and goes dormant in summer.
Pairs well with Liverleaf, Western sword fern, and Chocolate lily.
