Album shooting star

Notes

'Album' shooting star (Primula jeffreyi 'Album') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun. Loose umbels of white flowers open in early to late spring on stiff stems. The petals sweep back like a badminton birdie. Small rosettes of long oval leaves form clumps, and the plant goes dormant in summer, so mark the spot.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Western sword fern, and Snowdrop.
