Notes

'Queen’s Choice' peony (Paeonia 'Queen’s Choice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, near white blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Dense blazing star, Little bluestem, and Annabelle hydrangea.
