Notes
'Radiant Valor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Radiant Valor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late spring brings red double flowers about 6 inches wide that face upward and have a subtle fragrance. The upright plants need no support. Swenson Gardens bred it.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Spanish bluebell, Sensitive fern, and Foxtail barley.
