Notes
Radicans forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Radicans' (Grafted)') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant blooms open in spring and again in summer, and bees and birds visit the plant. Deer tend to pass it by. It has a dense habit and stays evergreen.
Pairs well with American holly, Carolina jessamine, and Fountain grass.
