Notes

Ramsons (Allium ursinum) is a bulb for pollinator gardens and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It forms a carpet of broad, mid-green leaves topped with loose umbels of starry white flowers. The blooms are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. Plant it in multiples of 3, 5, 7, or more.

Pairs well with Bluebell, Hardy geranium, and Japanese maple.
