Rapture peony

Notes

'Rapture' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rapture') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are clear white with soft creamy lights and a hint of blush. Broad guard petals frame a smaller, cupped center. The blooms are fragrant, and George C. Thurlow bred it.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
