Notes
'Raspberry Clown' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Raspberry Clown') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink to cream blooms have cherry-red streaks and a slight fragrance. They open in early summer on sturdy stems about 33 inches tall. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1995.
Pairs well with Hollyhock, Meadowsweet, and Sedge.
