Notes

'Ravenna' peony (Paeonia 'Ravenna') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, double red flowers face upward and attract bees and butterflies. The upright stems reach about 28 inches tall and need no support. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Prairie dropseed, and Joe Pye weed.
