Notes

'Recurva Nana' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Recurva Nana') is an evergreen tree for specimen planting, hedges, rock gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. Its dense, fragrant foliage grows slowly and attracts birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It stays green through winter.

Pairs well with Limeglow creeping juniper, Berry Poppins winterberry, and Sedge.
