Notes
'Rendia' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Rendia') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The white blooms mature to dark red-pink and appear from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Nodding onion, and Sensitive fern.
