Notes

'Rhea' peony (Paeonia 'Rhea') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double, bright pink flowers open in late spring on plants that reach 4 to 5 feet tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Each strong stem carries one bud, so it makes a good cut flower.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Jackmanii clematis, Anglojap yew, and Lily.
