Notes

Rhododendron (Rhododendron sinogrande) is a shrub. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Its leaves are the largest of any rhododendron and can reach three feet long, and new foliage emerges shiny and copper-red. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. Protect it from winter cold snaps and keep it out of windy spots.

Pairs well with Oregon grape, Spice bush, Sedge, and Taro.
