Notes

'Right Royal' peony (Paeonia 'Right Royal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The creamy semi-double blooms have strawberry edges and deep flares. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1950.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Jackmanii clematis, and Christmas fern.
