Notes

'Roger’s Valentine' peony (Paeonia 'Roger’s Valentine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink semi-double flowers have a subtle fragrance and face upward. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and the upright stems need no support.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Little bluestem, Indian Summer rudbeckia, and Garlic chives.
