Notes

'Rogweige' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rogweige') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Red anemone-type flowers have petaloids edged in creamy white and carry a fragrance. Michael Miely bred it in 2004, and the plant stays short, reaching about 22 inches tall.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Grape hyacinth, and Sedge.
