Notes

'Roman Stars' peony (Paeonia 'Roman Stars') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The star-shaped pink flowers have white blurred edges and are fragrant, and the upright stems need no support. Joshua Scholten bred it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Prairie Sun rudbeckia, Guacamole hosta, and Picture tulip.
