Notes

'Rosabella' Spanish bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Rosabella') is a bulb for borders, woodland gardens, containers, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Violet pink flowers open in early to late spring on clumps 12 to 18 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer. Drought tolerance makes it an easy plant to keep.

Pairs well with Yellow trout-lily, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Eastern columbine.
