Notes

'Rosada' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rosada') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The tall plants have strong stems and double, rose pink blooms with wide petals that do not fade. Col. Jesse C. Nicholls bred it from a seedling of 'Madame Calot'.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Japanese spirea, Sedge, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
