Notes

'Rosaurea' peony (Paeonia 'Rosaurea') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Light pink petals surround straw colored staminodes and red stigmas. The flowers are 5½ inches across, and the plant grows 33 inches tall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, White Swan coneflower, and Annabelle hydrangea.
