Notes

'Rose Beauty' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rose Beauty') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, deep old rose pink flowers open in late spring and often develop a silvery border as they age. Tall, extra long stems and durable petals make a good cut flower. Gilbert S. Richmond bred it.

Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Picture tulip, White snakeroot, and New Jersey tea.
