Notes

'Rose Crystal' peony (Paeonia 'Rose Crystal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Saunders bred it in 1955, and its fragrant cream flowers have rose-pink edges and veins. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Liberty hosta, and Nodding onion.
