Notes

'Rose Elegance' peony (Paeonia 'Rose Elegance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. William S. Bockstoce bred it, and Henry Landis introduced it in 1974.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Patriot hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
