Notes
'Rose Queen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rose Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double flowers are dark pink, so they add a bold splash of color to a bed or a bouquet. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.
Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Blazing star, Foxtail barley, and Sensitive fern.
