Notes
'Rose Rays' peony (Paeonia 'Rose Rays') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single pink blooms that smell sweet, and bees and butterflies visit them. Gilbert S. Richmond bred this tall peony. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Praying Hands hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
