Notes

'Rosedale' peony (Paeonia 'Rosedale') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double red blooms look like roses and measure about 4 inches across. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Stiff stems hold the flowers up on this true dwarf plant.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carlton daffodil, and Baby's breath.
