Notes

'Rosental' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rosental') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its deep pink, semi-double flowers open in mid to late spring and have a delicate fragrance. Side buds open after the first blooms, so you get a second wave of flowers. The upright plants reach about 90 cm (35") and need no support.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Sedge, and Rose.
