Notes

Roseum rosebay rhododendron (Rhododendron maximum Roseum) is an evergreen shrub for woodland gardens, shade gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its erect form keeps its leaves through winter, so it adds winter interest. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Christmas fern, Witch hazel, and Striped maple.
