Notes

'Rosita' rose mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos 'Rosita') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy or loamy soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit its flowers in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. This plant grows fast and tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, and Western sword fern.
