Notes

'Rouge Harlequin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rouge Harlequin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single white flowers have wide fuchsia flares and open in mid to late spring. The upright stems are strong, so the plant needs no support. Juergen Steininger bred it.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Rainbow's End hosta, and Queen of Night tulip.
