Notes

'Roxana' peony (Paeonia 'Roxana') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single cerise blooms open early and attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The vigorous plants stay a little below medium height.

Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, White Feather hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
