Notes

'Royal Garden' rose (Rosa 'Royal Garden') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant, dark red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Alain Meilland bred it in 2013.

Pairs well with Baby's breath, Little bluestem, Niobe clematis, and Green Velvet buxus.
