Notes

'Royal Souvenir' peony (Paeonia 'Royal Souvenir') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring with yellow and cream flowers edged in cerise. Butterflies visit the blooms, and Derek Irvine bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Greig's tulip, and Clematis.
