Notes

'Ruberrima' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ruberrima') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A Belgian breeder developed it. It belongs to the Paeoniaceae family, the same family as other peonies. Plant it where the blooms are easy to reach, so you can cut them for indoor arrangements.

Pairs well with Weigela, Snowberry, and Blue grama.
