Notes

'Ruby Riches' peony (Paeonia 'Ruby Riches') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, specimen planting, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Double ruby-red flowers open facing upward on erect stems, so it needs no support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and Don Hollingsworth bred it.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Spiked speedwell, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pink Impression tulip.
