Notes

'Ruby' rubikon hens & chicks (Sempervivum 'Ruby') is a succulent for rock gardens, containers, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It is evergreen and tolerates drought, so it needs little care. Bees and butterflies visit it.

Pairs well with Biting stonecrop, Myrtle spurge, Stonecrop, and Poppy mallow.
