Notes

'Ruffled Sunset' peony (Paeonia 'Ruffled Sunset') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its fragrant flowers open in early to late spring in light yellow with rose-pink shading, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. David Reath bred it.

Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Lungwort, and Jackmanii clematis.
