Notes

'Rutfan' dogwood (Cornus 'Rutfan') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. White bracts appear in mid to late spring, and the leaves show fall color. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 8 to 12 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Ostrich fern, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
