Notes

'Ruth Olson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ruth Olson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double blooms are rose pink with champagne centers and smell fragrant. They open at mid-season in early summer on stems about 32 to 36 inches tall. Harris Olson bred it.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Sedge, and Sensitive fern.
