Notes

'Rydal' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Rydal') is a tree for specimen planting, accent, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy soil. It grows fast in a conical shape, and birds visit this evergreen. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Mugo pine, Bunchberry, and Red fescue.
