Notes

'Sae See' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Sae See') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double pink blooms open in early to mid spring and smell sweet. Each stem carries three buds, and the flowers sit well above the leaves. John & Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2000.

Pairs well with Rose, Stargazer lily, and Switchgrass.
