Notes

'Sahohime' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Sahohime') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its medium-large, semi-double flowers open light blush-pink in early summer and fade to nearly white over time. Small petals sit at the center of each bloom, and the stigmas are light red to coral.

Pairs well with Paperbark maple, Cinnamon fern, and New England aster.
