Notes

'Salmon Jewel' peony (Paeonia 'Salmon Jewel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early blooming single flowers are warm salmon-pink with darker veining and a slight fragrance. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Strong upright stems reach about 80 cm and need no support.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Clustered bellflower, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
