Notes

'Salmon Star' lupine (Lupinus 'Salmon Star') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Tall spires of lavender pink, salmon pink, and salmon orange flowers open in early to late summer and attract bees. The plant goes semi-dormant after blooming. Cut it back six inches after flowering to encourage new growth and reblooming.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Sedge, and Nodding onion.
