Notes

'Salud Embers' common sneezeweed (Helenium autumnale 'Salud Embers') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, meadows, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, clay soil. It grows in a clump and draws butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, White phlox, and Allegheny monkeyflower.
